Backgound Information about Jacques Cousteau

Well hello there Jacques Cousteau here with the inventor of the aqua lung and much more hehe! I was born in June 11, 1910 in Gironde, France. I Jaqcues Cousteau entered France's Naval Academy in 1930. I Graduated three years later and entered the French Navy. Im the one that designed the Aqua-Lung in 1942 so if someone else tells you that they invented they are wrong!
The Aqua Lung gave you more air while diving in deep depths. I was really excited to be awarded the National Geographic Gold medal at the White House. I sadly died at age 87 in June 25, 19 1997 in Paris France.

But I lived a wonderful life and cherished very much! I still wish I could be alive to see the 20th Century ,but you know this things happen to everybody. If I would have listened to my doctor and stop diving I would have been able to see all those new movies and cars but oh well! Now more about me!
